I just finished installing one. mine came off a 1976 26'hunter.i have seen one in a catalog of mast fittings, it has a eye on bottem for downhaul i installed a eye bolt in the bolt hole for mast support,had to ream out hole to 3/8"the sliding gooseneck has a 1/2"round piece that slides in ...

took it out sailing with the sliding gooseneck in place and the bimini up. boom clears the bimini. needed the shade today. every thing works perfectly you have to fold up bimini to raise main sail then raise bimini again . and if i want i can run with the boom in original position(slids up and down ...

Took off the old boom conection today and installed down haul Closed old opening for sail slugs and bent new opening lower down mast.schould be all set to test out. from all the talk,I guess i will have to reef five minutes sooner then others but I don't care. Better then having someone getting hit ...

Found I had a sliding gooseneck from a 76 hunter and it fits in sail groove on mast and attaches to the boom with a longer 1/4 bolt.raising the sail all the way raises it about 8". real close on rubbing the back stayup top.Have moved the bale on the boom to clear the front of the bimini.I am tw...

dep reg: washing your hands under a out side fauset is not polution .washing your hands over a sink under the fauset and having it dump on the ground is polution. so straight from the sourse is ok but putting in any container or hose is polution.go figure

best to visually check befor trying!! if the drive is not level or has a dip or swale in it. trailer is long and height is changed alot by not being level

some engines have anouther switch on the motor or when on the trailer try lifting lower end up and out and set locks you may need to loosen hydralic line or disconect cylinder to do this. if you have to loosen cylinder tie motor down as well as up so it don't bounce off locks or bend stops .without ...

thanks for your ideas. will let you know what i do when i do it, proably nov. when i go south again. got a different boat up north in ct.1971 35 finsailor ,motor sailor with inboard deisel 70hp.compleatly different handeling boats both not th best sail boats but both good for me only started sailing...

I want to raise the boom so you don't get hit in the head and i want to clear the bimini.i have my bimini so i can stand up 5'8"and not bend over under it.there seems to be enought height on mast to raise sail about 6-8" and not have to change sail .just have to raise boom .need to make ne...

i have never used rudders or center board when under power in southwest florida. it.s too shallow i don't use them untill i am sailing. i new on a macx but not new to sailing i have a 35ft finn sailor up north in conn with full shoal draft keel and bought the mac for florida and shallow water so far...
