Do yourself a favor and inspect the swing keel and the pull line/cable I mean you may wat to drop it and really inspect it good as there is often some wear on the components

OK after doing a quick google of macgregor 25 images - I see yours are correct and not placed anything like they are on a 26x or M so purely my bad, your spreaders are fine.

it Looks like they either mounted the speaders wrong or the entire mast is upside down you may want to look into that.

Clean the hull out of them once a month or so or use dielectric grease to keep them from fouling

I Love my Tohatsu 70 trims up with no problems highly efficient clean and quite - for a 2stroke on a budget they are tough to beat, I mean I would love a 4stroke but like next to a E-tec I honestly feel Tohatsu is the next best very light too at only 338lb full of oil

I used my wire snake I used to install wiring and simply poked it in there and took a shop vac to the drain and Woosh all clear. Any stout weedeater line would work just as well as the snake because actually thats all mine is el cheapo from HF

just behind the forward hatch it will block your interior view of the world but in a emergency simply reach around the hatch and deploy it? Just a thought I realize it is not ideal as in heavy seas and foul weather you could lose the raft as it deployed but I was thinking of mounting a roof top carr...
