A few more photos… https://i.postimg.cc/nsczM6Y4/IMG-3309.jpg That is a busy negative battery post with all those connectors. For what its worth I would have a negative bus bar such as a 250 amp Blue Sea 2127 with qty 4 5/16" studs. https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/shopping?q=tbn:ANd9GcRjTp5...

Re: Sound baffling for the motor
Not sure why the installer of your remote control did not rig it Ah. Well. Yours is opposite mine. My raise/lower button is on the outside, and there's only a 1/2 inch spacer in there. https://i.postimg.cc/CBYZ7DCd/throttle2.jpg Also, my wheel is wrapped in black (the white wrap turned grey real fa...

Re: Sound baffling for the motor
(In a way, I'm kinda glad it doesn't go higher; it's so loud I fear it's gonna just blow up.) Not sure why the installer of your remote control did not rig it so that you could achieve W.O.T. I'd want to know how fast I can go. :) It's achievable...but it does take some effort to center it in order...

Re: Sound baffling for the motor
Anyone here have the transom filler mod from BWY and does it work? I considered it but I fish from my :macx: alot and need that space when standing up when landing a fish. It would be just more clutter to deal with removing it all the time. https://cdn4.volusion.store/reeua-fzzpa/v/vspfiles/photos/4...

Re: Winter Projects 2023-2024 -- Post Yours
While on the topic of beverage holders I think found a perfect removeable one for the cockpit or cabin. Intended for use on bed railings, arm rests, trolleys, rollators, wheelchairs or walkers...yeah...everything but boats but I find it ideal on the binnacle. https://www.amazon.com/Pieces-Stroller-H...

Re: Winter Projects 2023-2024 -- Post Yours
I'm doing major electrical system upgrades. I finally did a soup-to-nuts wiring diagram to plan it all out. Adding AC Panel and second DC Panel, oscillating fans, freshwater system, proper marine dual battery charger, a couple of bilge pumps ('cause it just feels like a boat should have one), re-do...

Re: What a Beautiful Day in the South Today!
We had many beautiful days here this summer in Western Canada specifically Alberta/British Columbia being very hot and dry. Unfortunately many of them were marred by forest fires....and their were a lot. Thankfully the plume of smoke from the fire in this pic is across the lake and did not affect us...

Re: Male Human Liquid Waste Disposal System
Don't see a reason on why it would not work. As mentioned already their could be a smell issue. But then you can just turn the tap on with lav deodorizer in the water. I know taking a pee in the :macx: can be a challenge for us men. I typically have the door open with one foot in the cabin. Get the ...

Re: 3" ballast gate valve - new seals...
For what it's worth I would just replace the whole gate. Replacing the seals can be tricky and can become adrift easily from my experience. Using some silicone grease on the seals certainly helps. The current long lifting rod should screw into the new gate. Apply some 3M 5200 around the perimeter of...

Re: Winter Cover using 1/2" tubing
My tarp was purchased at Princess Auto here in Canada similar to your Harbor Freight in the USA. Link here... https://www.princessauto.com/en/16-x-20-ft-extreme-duty-poly-tarp/product/PA0008924599 Again it's a 200 denier 9 mil tarp. Obviously the more heavier duty the tarps are...is that they can ge...

Re: Winter Cover using 1/2" tubing
Nice work Russ. I winter my boat in British Columbia where the snow pack can get heavy at times so it has been a challenge for me. My setup now is almost identical to yours with irrigation tubing drilled on the ends and attached to the stanchions with cheap dollar store paracord. I number them all a...
