Russ tells me the problem should be fixed now. Give it a try and post back to let me know.

From what I can see from administering your profile, you were not a member of those groups. I updated your profile to make you a member. Try it now.

I’ve just posted a test message to that forum and it worked fine. However I’ve contacted Russ, the forum owner/manager on your behalf and I’m sure he will contact you as soon as he’s able. Please ensure the email address you registered with here on the forum (syom****@gmail.com) is correct.

Re: Blue Water Yachts communication issues

As with any business, I'm sure they are impacted by Covid. Last I heard all is well, but then again BWY has never been known for extreme punctuality in email communications... heck, sometimes they're out sailing! They are known, however, for fantastic customer support, great products, reasonable pri...

Re: 26S keel is at the bottom of the ocean - need to build replacement

As for fabrication, I’ve got several years experience as a mold designer and constructor for a well-known high-performance motorcar manufacturer. I’ve made more than a few production-quality molds. Unless you’re doing it for the “joy” of the experience, there’s no way you could construct a mold and ...

Again, my suggestion is to ring them and discuss your options. They have more experience selling repair parts for Macs than anyone in this planet. They’re also pretty nice folks.

Re: Repurposing Teak

Interesting post. Given that teak is a wood which is becoming more scarce and that the harvesting isn’t always ethical, reusing it is very environmentally responsible. One warning, however... although teak is quite lovely and an appropriate wood for a boat, one must be very careful when working with...

Re: 26D sink drain leak. Connect to daggerboard trunk?

Howdy. Yeah, as our boats age there are certain problems that usually show up, and that fitting getting loose is one of them. The through-hulls also sometimes begin to leak. As for draining properly, I've never seen a 26S, so I can't comment on that, but I've never heard of anyone sending it to the ...

We’re not up there yet, Guy, but I expect we will be in the next few weeks. Our cottage is on the tip of Point Au Fer, and overnight anchoring around the Point from us in King’s Bay is quite lovely.

Not sure if i can put my email on here, but... windsurfmt -- on the website -- yahoo with a dot, com. My wife said that she liked the 26X better than the 26M, so we have the 26X. Therefore the 26X must be better.
Yeah, I'd stick to that story, Bill. Much safer.
