“ no more than one inch below the hole”
a. Fill to at least one inch below the hole.
Or
2. Stop filling at one inch below the hole.
Reminds me of a $1m NMR magnet with a Dewar cover that had a sticker on it.

Re: Replace your "things" before they break
Remember there is a down side of upsizing the forestay, you have to up in tension to stop shock loading. Everything else is now under more stress. Forestay s don’t break from tension, they fatigue or corrode

Bumping a 5 year old thread asa PSA for Mercury FAMILY EFI engines.

Hmmm
6 miles or so would be way too far for me
A football field length crawl at 10 mph or less would be my limit. The stress of the up and down in resonance would be my concern. Legal , Schmegal

Re: New Electronics Package for US Inland Trips
I’ll never forget shooting out on Lake Ontario under perfect beam reach conditions, eating pizza and wine, then wondering why that tanker was so close to shore we could see his red and green.
Hmmm. 2 hours at 7 knots, we were halfway to Toronto in the middle of a shipping channel.

And you can lock through your channels.
If you go 3 feet to starboard of the marked channel , though, you are aground.
Happened to a very good friend of mine.
