P.S. I'm not by any means a "windows hater" or an Apple apologist. I've written 16 books about Windows and make the vast majority of my income supporting Windows: http://www.amazon.com/Matthew-Strebe/e/B000APFRU8/ref=sr_tc_2_0?qid=1351914215&sr=1-2-ent Hey I have some of your books in a box in the ...

Re: Suspension help

Hello Hugh and Spector. I just wanted to send a quick shout out, and say hi, I sail out of ghost lake as well. Send me a PM if you guys ever want to head out. Kev. Sounds like we need to start the Ghost Lake MacGregor Owners Group! Lots of others there too. We'll be renting a mooring next year and ...

Re: Suspension help

I have the Firestone airbags on my Titan, more for other loads than the Mac but I love them. Brings the truck up when you need it and you just need to let the air out when down and all is back to normal

Where are you sailing? Ghost?

Re: 4 Stroke 'making oil'

Ahh but you missed my point. It was fuel in the oil due to glazing of the cylinders and fuel blowing past rings. I did some google searching and it appears to be a common thing

4 Stroke 'making oil'

So I purchased a MacX in the late spring and did a shake down cruise etc and all went well. We went on vacation and the problems started with the engine. (Yamaha 2002 4 stroke F60TLRA) To make a long story short, it was loading up the cylinders, leaking fuel, running like crap. We had a guy look at ...

If there's a self weigh station nearby just crank the wheel down on the scale. Weigh the back while you're at it and you know your all up weight too.

Re: Mainsail sheet

I love forums that are helpful like this! I have been on too many other forums for other sports etc that have lost the spirit of helpfulness and community. Thanks again to all for your responses.

Time to go sailing now that I know it won't rip the pedestal out of the boat

My wife and I were at the lake today taking out Basic cruising course and I noticed something on the other :macx: 's that mine doesn't have. Looking for a little advise from someone here.We recently bought our :macx: but have yet to ...
