Re: Another winch question

Baby Stays are in place and attached. CRUTCH IN PLACE, Bimini removed and stowed. Then as I understand it, 2 wraps clockwise around winch, crank in winch, use it to raise the mast back up if needed, slowly lower mast by letting line slip on winch while firmly holding line to keep it from running fre...

Another winch question

I have had my 26x in the water since the end of June, but now it is time to pull it out. I have the stock mast raising kit and used it when rigging the boat for the first time. It worked great. When raising the mast I put 2-3 turns of line clockwise around the winch, and it pulled up easily. I have ...

Re: installing bilge pumps on 2001X

I was worried about this when I bought my boat, but it has been in the water since 6-23 and is dry as a bone.

A pleasant surprise!

Re: 26 m price

$8000 for an M is a heckuva deal! Does it have a motor?

With motor & trailer bank should loan you twice that.
My best guess is it is a 04 model.

Re: Mac Main Sail furler-anyone installed?

For me......easy, says it all.

But then, I am an old guy, which explains why easy is so appealing.

Re: Best prop for Honda 50

Kudos to Tom as well, for a very concise and detailed reply.

Looks like he (dealer) might have been trying to just sell me a prop.

Best prop for Honda 50

I was having some work done on my boat at the local Honda Marine dealer and the owner suggested I could get much better performance out my motor by changing my prop to a 4 blade. Anyone have any experience with this?

Wall mount QFX tv

I recently bought a 16" combo flat screen TV/DVD player and want to wall mount it on the head wall aft of the dinette. There are (4) 4mm machine screw mounting points on the back of the TV that I assume are mounting points for wall mounting. The threaded holes have s/s inserts and are less than 1/4"...

You guys have cleared up that mystery fofr me....many thanks.

All part of the leaning process.

When installing the bimimi, does the long leg ofthe bimini frame go to th front or rear of the boat.? I currently have it toward the stearn, but it seems I have seen photos of it the opposite way.

First launch of my 26x

Rigged and launched my 26x yesterday with nothing but the standard owners manual for reference. To complicate maters, the boat had been taken down in a half assed way and parts stowed randomly. We could find no mention of the line securing the aft end of the boom to the top of the mast. My friend wh...
