Your reefing line needs to go forward to the mast anyway, as you may need to reef in a blow where you cannot get the boom back into the cabin safely, Lordy! What?? I'd certainly maneuver into irons before trying to reef. Gotta drop the halyard, hook the tack and tie off three reef points before I w...

My Dad has an old Dewalt radial arm saw (No electric motor brake), that I get to use as needed. My Dad insists
that I take inventory (thumbs, fingers and others) before and after each cut... :wink:
