IMHO.... You cannot make blanket statements like this , if for no other reason than amperage output varies greatly from motor MFG to motor MFG and HP.. Battery and Batteries? Discharged how far? I am very surprised to hear that there are still any Macs around, without All Lines Lead Aft.. IMHO ... You will enjoy your sailing time all the more, with that project done and out of the way... That looks fantastic grady! I'd love to do that but that is exactly where I stand to raise the mainsail ...

Hi Sumner : Absolutely we will go the long route if in fact that trip is possible.. as for the way in to the Marquesas atoll its Coral and the water is no where near what you see in the Bahamas and often its late in the day when you arrive..

Its late its been a long day but I will work to get one of these solutions to work.. Being inside that atoll makes a HUGE difference when overnighting.. I will some how , even if we do as Chinook suggested give way point to way point.. Its very hazardous getting inside the atoll but well worth it. T...

Looking for computer geek

I have access to the Tracks for getting inside the Marquesas atoll . My question is ? Is it possible to down load tracks from Garmin Chart Plotter to a lap top and from this lap top to this board so others wanting this information could have it??

I will keep an eye on this thread as I too hope/desire to make this trip.. I "Think" I can down load the tracks to get inside the Marquesas which is very tricky.. I will depart from Charlotte Harbor.

My wife suffers as does Sumner it appears from hypotension / chronic low blood pressure..spells like Sumner is experiencing are often caused/ brought on by stress and anxiety ... I think it has a LOT to do with the numbers of boats you will find in Florida and our 12 month boating season. There are more boats in CA. and MI. but I will assume most are on trailers and may..... not be used very often??? SWF has a LOT of water but if your are unfamiliar with it , there is a LOT ...
