Could it be titanium?

Postby Ixneigh » Fri Jan 12, 2018 8:15 pm

Yea. Those little screws that hold the white plastic trim around the two hatches on my M model. They rust easily. In fact practically every screw they used, rusts easily. The forward hatch has lots of rusty screws. I even replaced them and the replacements rusted. If the titanium screws fix the problem, you will know by my not mentioning it again. :p

Cheap stainless alloy? Buy 316 as replacements? Probably easier to source over titanium or monel?
