Now you're getting blue hull owners involved, and where does that place the "Black Pearl" :?: :( :D

It's a fine old Mac Sailors tradition. And sailors are all about tradition, aren't they. :D

Maybe it was, but it isn’t sunk (I guess), so it’s a Mac with a colored hull. It’s fair game for speed bragging rights (totally irrelevant nonsense); white, blue, black.

Ray
The proof is in the Pudding show me a black or blue hull doing this !

or this

or this only true cutter rigged mac26 with a masthead rig & traveler mounted backstay for a rotating mast was not only a M26 but also a white hull :)

& this the only mac cutter rigged with four furling heads sails & a 4ft bowsprit is a white 26M

Just sayin Ray looks like the white Mac Hull rules the sea,s & it,s an 26M :)

Looks like to me the Blue & Black hulls got a lot of catchin up to to git their Sh_t together :P

John,

You’re in a class by yourself :D

I did a painting of your Mac using one the shots of it under full sail. After the move, do you still have it?

I heard that the Mac's with white paint were faster as the white more more hydrophobic and weighs less and thus provided much greater speeds at sail?
Anyone know if that/s true?
Just wondering.. I read it on the internet.. (must be true)

Well, I'm first to arrive and I'm a white hull and my answer is yes.

We'll have to wait for the blue hulls to get here to offer their opinion.

Patience... patience... :)
