Location on loop trip

Post by ris » Tue May 28, 2019 7:24 pm

We are in Mills Norrie State Park Marina just north of Poughkeepsie N.Y. until Thursday.
Going up to Watertown N.Y. on Saturday then on to Lake Champlain. We have over 6300 miles on this 26X and Honda motor. Anybody would like to meet up just post or pm me if the pm still works on this site. Calling is also allowed.

Hi Richard and Jill,

Glad to see you're making good progress. You're getting into some spectacular cruising waters.

Enjoy, Mike and Sandy

By the way:

What kind of prop do you have?

Do you use max speed and planning? If not was it smart idea to use a "much to big prop", so you could save fuel when dooing just 6knots. With a big prop the engine would turn in lower rpms, so milage should improve.

How do you deal with this?
