Hey Guys and Gals
I've been able to chime in on and start a couple of topics on this forum and I have to say that I really love being part of this community. Thanks for all the great advice!
Now that the pleasentries are over, let's get down to the nitty gritty.
I have a 1992 Mac 26S. Feel free to correct me on the "S" part, but I am fairly confident it's an S. Anyway, I think the covers on all my cushions are probably original or at least close to it. My lovely and beautiful wife has stated that these cushions need to be replaced before date nights on the boat next spring. Who am I to argue?!?
Anyway, I am having a problem finding someone who sells sets of cushion covers for our older boats. There is a store that continually advertises covers on ebay, but I can't seem to get them to give me an answer I can spend money on.
I have found a local (north of Dallas, Tx) guy with material very similar to the stuff Sunbrella uses. And I have a friend who sews for money. However, I'd like to just buy a package.
Does anyone know of a store that I can just order a set of cushion covers on my boat for?
Note: My forum entry could have been three paragraphs shorter if I had just asked the question...but what's the fun in that?
Thanks

Re: 1992 Mac 26S Boat Cushions
I looked in vain for covers for my Mac25. I took the cushions to a local shop who gave me a great price, but ended up getting them back after three months of waiting and nothing being done. My daughter is coming over next week and we are going to make them ourselves. I bought the Sunbrella fabric on ebay at a great price: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0303871804
They shipped really quick. Good folks.
