New Toy

Post by Gazmn »

I was at Costco and saw this item for about a hundred bucks. It seems to give you decent quality action video and it's cheaper than risking my expensive Video camera dropping in the drink.

Thought I'd pass it on. It comes with a waterproof case and various mounting straps.

Or, you could get a cheap HD camera for about the same price: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product. ... d=10965669

It doesn't have all the fancy mounting capabilities, but it IS Hi-Def (though I'll bet it's not the same quality as a $999 Canon! ).

I'd hate to see ANY of my electronics land in the drink, but if I've got to dunk something I agree that I'd rather have it be something cheap.

That's kewl too Big :)

I got lured into mine b/c I envisioned handsfree snowboarding and watersports usage, strapping it to my arm or helmet or on the boat's rail. This one is water resistant [rain] and comes with a waterproof case good to about 20'.
