There are two benches at the launch ramp at Marina Del Rey. They are favorite spots for retirees to sit and watch all of the mishaps of boat launchers. I haven't seen one quite this bad, but I sometimes I have to feel very sorry for some fellow boaters. Launching, or retrieving, is particularly difficult with a cross-wind. I've had a couple of tough ones.
