Mac 25 Rub rail insert

Does anyone know the replacement and the distrubutor for the rub rail vinyl rubber insert material for a 1982 Macgregor 25.

If you're speaking of the long rubber piece itself, you can usually find it at BWY (blue water yachts)... www.bwyachts.com

BWY does not handle the rubber insert for the MAC25!

Old thread, I know, but I too have rub rail prob's (primarily that the PO slathered white paint on the hull and deck and didn't seem to care when it got on the BLACK rub rail! @#$%). I've contacted WEFCO and they have that same part # available, so the question for jsbetty is: did it fit? Any issues to watch for in installing it? Inquiring but lilliputian minds want to know...

Well as it happens the Quartermaster managed to get the existing rub rail substantially cleaned up with a combination of mineral spirits, baby oil, wire brush, and elbow grease
