Sirprise, Ketchikan, AK

Post by DaveC426913 » Mon Sep 10, 2018 6:06 pm

I just knew I'd spot a Mac that far north on the West Coast if I looked hard enough!

Spotted "Sirprise" heading out past the red buoy - from the Lido Deck of the Holland America Volendam on Sept 3.

(This post will make a lot more sense once I'm able to upload pics again...)

Seems like when heading out the Red is on the right? Deep water, everything seems be okay. Encouraging pic.

Nope. In all of North America (including Utah), the adage is "Red Right Return".
i.e. the red is on the right when you are returning to harbour. (He was headed out, so he was correct.)
