Try and contact Sean (private message me for the address). He spent a couple of weeks this summer in the gulf and wrote a great story about it. He is a friend of mine that we have gone to Catalina together before. Just tell him that Lynn Massingham said to contact him I am sure he will give you all kinds of good info.

Also, there's lots of good info on the Cruise Cortez website.

P.S. regarding posting practices ... it's best to avoid posting email addresses, since automated web-bots grab them for SPAM lists - the bots just look for the @ symbol. One way is to mask them using the words AT and DOT rather than their symbols.

hamshog, as the original poster, you have access to an edit button on the above post that permits you to change it. If you don't see it soon enough, a Moderator might change it for you.
(I don't have access in this forum).

Good catch, Frank, I missed that. Thanks.

I have removed the address entirely. I did this because the address was not that of the poster. Posting your own email address in a public forum isn't a good idea, for the reasons Frank noted, as well as for potential harassment issues, but further, posting someone else's address is especially not a good idea... the third party may take a particularly dim view of having their address exposed without their express permission.

My apologies, hamshog. I have inserted text so others may contact you directly for Sean's address if they need it.
