Seapup - not to change the subject, but what's going on with the two lights at the stern, neither of which are on the little square pad next to the rudder cleat the white stern light is normally found on an :macx: ?
Hmmm...My 02 came with a rearward facing light mounted on a little plate where they are now. I had an extra off the original mast (steaming light) that matched it, so put it on the same plate facing into the cockpit with some leds. We have used it at night when washing dishes and fishing, Kate likes to torment the sharks while anchored up :evil:

U can install deck plates as I did here for install #7 aft winches it will give u alot more access
For a short section of track that would certainly be easier.

Another option for just a bimini would be a bimini track, which would not require through bolting. If I had not stumbled across T track locally I would have went that route.
