Thanks Kevin NS Craig Catigale Graham and R Rae

Good sound advice and the makings of a great check list. :)

I am have the Bearings replaced this month and plan on towing the boat a bit before heading a cross Country. Having another set of bearings ready and waiting sounds like good advice.

I wanted to stop at Lake Mead but I hear the water level is really down and launch difficult. The Eisenhower Tunnel was about the death of me in my Mini Van during the late 80's so I am not sure about that route granted it is very beautiful! But the altitude is a killer and without Mead to make the detour worth while I think coming down from the north makes the most since! Any word of lake conditions at Mead? :?

Also if I wanted to replace my 14 inch tires with 15 inch I assume I will have to replace the Rims? And as stated above raise the fenders, is 1 inch about right?

Again unfortunately I will have to have my BM do the work for me. Trailers aren’t really his thing but he has done them before and knows I am out of place so he's willing to get it ready for me if I don’t buy a tandem axle model! :(

I am still looking for tandem in the Venture price range (under $3000) in the Seattle Area so it can be pre-fitted to my boat. Any suggestions there would be GREATLY appreciated :)
