Broken Mast... What do I do now?

Hey all, I just purchased my first sailboat a 1975 venture 23'. My mast now has a clean break on it right above (practically right at) the spreaders. The lower portion has a slight bend to it about 3ft down from the break. I'm in Dallas, Tx what would be the best way to fix my situation? Can I sleeve it? Where would I buy a new or hopefully used one?
Thanks!

I believe Dwyer (
https://www.dwyermast.com) was the original supplier for most of the Mac masts. Might want to contact them and see what it costs to have one made up for you. My guess is that they still have the drawings to build one for you. Failing that, you could contact Blue Water Yachts and they would most likely be able to find you a mast. Good luck!

They can create the exact mast that I need, but it would be nearly $2000 shipped to me :/ I'm hoping to find a used one in Texas

Try a welder he will tell you if it can be fixed keep in mind he has to be a really good welder - My second option would be craigslist.org and search there is a v25 mast on the craigslist near me now.

FYI - read craigslist for a lot of my needs you can really save a lot of money
It just dont make sense to put a $2000.00 Mast on a boat you can buy in repairable condition for the same price.
