Bigger is NOT always better!

I installed Webasto FCF 12K AC/Heat last year and found it a little uncomfortable using at the beginning (and end) of season when temperatures are not extreme.
Webasto tech support told me that the compressor will run for minimum of 6 minutes regardless of what temperature is doing. When it is mild outside (75 - 80 degrees) and sunny it gets about 86+ inside. If I set AC at 74 degrees then first time it works good - AC cools to just below 74 and stops. Then AC turns on again just above 74 and 6 minutes is enough to drop temperature by 7 - 8 degrees to about 66 - 67. Huge temperature swing from setpoint of 74 with fan running on slow speed.
Originally I was going with 9K but read here that someone installed 9K and it was not enough and he switched to 12K. If I did it again I would go with 9K. I think my duct work is a lot more efficient. I almost need to divert some air outside for more comfortable control. But it does work great and VERY powerful! A lot more powerful than I expected!
