Outboard Stand
| When we bought our boat in late September I knew that I was going to need lots of time to inspect and possibly work on our Honda BF50. Having it in the garage during the winter was the only way. I designed what the Admiral calls the guillotine, (I tend to over-build things). Using 4x4 pressure treated lumber, a hand full of lag bolts and nuts, four inch wood screws, cheap wheels, and a 1200lbs hand winch. I can now hoist the motor off the boat and secure it to the removable PT 2x6's in minutes. Cost was about $100. |
