did I miss something?
My questions:
1. Who made the pictures of this dramatic situation?
2. Who ever did it, why didn´t they come to rescue the victims?
...after all isn´t this a fake?

BluewaterYacht catalogue does not work
Hallo Sailors, the starboard front window of my 26x has a crack and I tried to order one from BWY. However the online catalogue does not work on my computers with WIN 7 aswell with WIN 8. After filling out all fields of the online BWY Parts Catalog (Year: 2000, Models: 26x,Category: does not open, P...

Re: Mac on steroids....IMEXUS
In Europe, these boats are being sold under the brand Odin. The truth about the Imexus: The German general importer of the MG boats was very engagad and had his own ideas for the improvement of the :macx: . He contacted the MG-company in California several times and made suggestions for changes and...

Re: 70% Steering solution for Mac26x
If to much play in the steering is encountered this nut can be the source as well. http://i325.photobucket.com/albums/k376/2bonc/Lenkung.jpg The steering piston should not have any longitudenal play in the tubing. Especeally this can happen after exchange of the steering cable. (As it happened to me...

Re: Sailing alone (some questions, and some warning)
Hi! 2. When sailing, wind is coming at right angle, and both Mainsail and Genoa are hoisted, I have trouble to keep the boat at the course. 90% of the time, I have to apply strong pressure to the steering wheel! (When wind is from starboard, I have to push the wheel anti-clockwise, really hard! And...

MAGMA Grill on Fire
I like my Magma-Grill very much, it´s convenient to use, out of the way and very effective however I have the following problem: It seems to me that I´m not able to regulate the burner down sufficiently. It´s not allways possible to avoid any fat from dropping down from the grill onto the cover of t...

User Callibration of Raymarine ST 40 Wind
Just before starting the sailing season I remember a uncertainness encountered during the user calibration of the ST 40 Wind last year. When I was going in circles I never got any response from the wind system that it had derived enough information to brake off circling. Can one confirm that this is...

Re: 26X centerboard is stuck - won't drop down!
What's worked for me is to take the boat out on the water, release the line, and drive over boat wave wakes. This should shake the board loose. If not, take the cooler out and bang on the centerboard housing a bit. If it is still stuck, then yes push a rod down the compression post. If all this is ...

Re: help with center board removal
3. Anything else I should consider doing while the board is out? You can take some precaution to get the board easy in again: After having read in the MG-Pages very helpfull hints how to remount the keel-assemly I did the following. I taped a 5mm winding into the top of the original mounting bolt (...

Re: Broken Rudder, Repair advice please..
Hi Paul, sorry for Your problem :( . But I would try to save the rudder as well. I´ve done some glasfibre work at the rudder of my :macx: , but the damage was not that severe. I´m not a GFC-specialist but in Your case I would do the following. Put in some placeholder for the pinholes but don't forge...
