Re: Transom cracks

i'm thinking of just fiber glassing / fiber bondo over that area and do away with that "u" peace of molding.
anyone with a solution please let me know, thanks.

Re: my new custom road runner trailer
Around here most sling launches will not launch a boat from bunk trailers as most bunks run fore /aft. The exception is the Mac bunk trailer with it's side to side bunks which are no problem at a sling launch. It's really nice to launch the boat without having to dunk the trailer in salt water. poi...

Re: my new custom road runner trailer
I would be very interested in seeing more pictures, and some contact information if you'd share, since the word "custom" usually negates talking to "just anybody". Cheers Gary hi Gary edit, in this case "custom" equates to some minor alterations to one of road runners ...

Re: my new custom road runner trailer
It looks like you have bunks running for/aft instead of across the trailer side to side. I prefer your setup, as that is what I have for my '76 V25. My trailer was from a power boat and fits exactly like yours except for tandem axles. However I have seen some debate as to the different approaches f...

Re: 26 classic - dream list
Totally agree on the freezer, but rather than all the other electrical work I've been thinking about the honda camping generator. Like you financing is the killer. But I like the idea of the extra power trading carring only a couple gallons of gas. Which is easy in the lazaret. I could use the gas ...

Re: anyone using a yamaha t9.9 on a 26s?
Tia, My prev. boat was a 26-S with a 8HP Merc. It was a great combination, and it moved the boat well. There are Mac-S boats in my area with 9.9 HP engines, and they perform well. I think having an elect. start and engine battery charging system are definately a PLUS. Incidentally, the engine needs...
