Re: Daggerboard gone......
I have added in the mods section, my new bracket made from SS, a better upgrade.
The dagger board is at the shipwrights just now, getting the new insert glassed in & I am adding some lead to the bottom, will post the photos when the board comes back in a couple of weeks

Re: What's Wrong With Mac Rudders
Hello Phil, like you I am quite new to sailing, 3 seasons with the Mac 26X, & in my experiance they stall when trying to tack, I have just removed my rudders & am going to add 1ft to the overall length, & put some on the breadth as well. Am also going to try adding some lead to the keel,...

Re: Genoa sheet cleats?
I went OTT with a pair of Lewmar size 16s with the self tailer adaptor on top, got them cheap so just went for it. I have installed a couple of eyelets on the side of the boat for sheaves for the spinnaker. Works well for spinnaker & also the 150 gen. I will have to take some photos & stick ...

Re: God - I hate windows Garmin Mapsource GPS interface problem
Try going on the Garmin website, I have just transferred from PC to MAC with garmin. You have to install map convertor & map manager, it is all explained on the Garmin support website. I also e-mailed them & they helped me through the process. I am away from home or I could have sent you all...

26x Washboard
I am wondering if anyone can do me a favour, I am away from home, but am looking to order an acrylic washboard to replace the one piece washboard that is currently onboard. A) does anyone have the size of the standard 26x washboard b) has anyone fitted an acrylic washboard, and what thickness did yo...

Re: Rigging Failure - Demasted under sail
One of the first things I did when taking over the boat was to remove all the ring dings & change over to bottle screws, its a lot easier when rigging de-rigging as well.
Well worth the investment

Re: Purchasing equipment from the USA
Some good points gentleman,
will look at a few of the companies involved & see what the company offers for shipping. Now I have to figure to go for a cruising chute or spinnaker.

Re: The boat on its side in the Solent
Yeah,
I was the same as well, installed a 6 inch inspection hatch from the seat side to access area on Port side to install additional point for Port mounting.
I should get round to adding some stuff into the MODS page.
