Balaz, I have not seen any special problems with my 99 and I looked into it big time when I bought. I think that you will get a lot of "preferences" but nothing major. Just like the White vs Blue hull argument, much more of a preference than a real issue (since white is faster :P ) I'm int...

Re: bimini
When ordering from them they've always checked with me to see which I have, and even rechecked. On the bottom of the bimini page it says to specify which boat you have so I'm assuming that they have both. I've called a few times and they've been very helpful... And I hear yu on costs, I'd love a ful...

How did you find your boat?
I think there's at least a few of us that are trying, unfortunately, to sell our boats. I am wondering where you guys, that didn't buy em straight from the factory, found em!? I have mine on craigslist in my area and have had just few calls over the past month or so. I think it's WAY underpriced and...

Re: How to load boat onto trailer without power
For what it's worth, I learned here to use ONE line attached to bow and stern, it changed my life!!!! It's actually an old halyard so whatever size that is... I stuff it all between the padding and the seat back while motoring in, dock it (whole other topic with great advise right here), that line i...

Re: 1999 26x Swing Keel line distance
Tex, I understand your frustration and I was thinking the same thing but ALX is right, with main alone my X's just wont point. In very heavy weather (I typically solo) as hard as it is to control both sails on my small CO lakes, I've found I can't sail main alone if I'm not running (reaching is a st...

Re: A liitle Feedback with respect to the MAC Bump
Anyone have a picture of a winch mod that works????? I put a new one on last year and it stripped the gears right away (thank God the first thing I did was place a saftey chain), not sure what way it originally sat since the previous owner was a mod machine!
Thanks as always!

Anyone been to Navajo Reservoir?
CO, NM boarder, I heard it's the a mini lake powell, is it any good in a sailboat? Can you beach it or do I need to anchor or get a slip? I have a buddy with a 19 ft with a 10 hp on it, would he have fun or is the wind not great like I've heard at powell? (He shoulda bought a mac!) We're also going ...

Re: porta potti
tried both dry pouches and liquid blue stuff from the wally as well this year... citrus pouches were good, I didn't do it by the books. added 2 pouches in top tank, and 2 below... Seems like I'd use the toilet 3-4 times (numero 1 only) and leave it for a week or so... gross I know but it's a pain to...

High wind!
a few days ago I went out to the lake in 25-30 mph wind with up to 40+ mph gusts (this is info from another sailer with a weather station on board)... Ok so I sail a lot in moderate winds and am doing fine (I grew up sailing a few times a summer in Rhode Island and have had my x for a year so I have...

Hey Matt I'm assuming, sounds like a great first day and the looks in WOT are great, in fact I got filmed by a big group in a 50 thousand dollar wakeboard boat while wakeboarding a few weeks ago... The stopped by later to ask what in the world this thing was!! Ok, inwas having motor problems, here's...

Re: FYI: Low cost GPS solution
I love my iPhone and have had great success on inland lakes BUT is this really GPS? I thought the phone triangulates three cell towers to find your location (hence the reason it does not work in a low coverage area). On a coast without a true triangle of cell towers, is it accurate? I only say this ...
