If anyone is interested the pads are OEM brand part no,DP212.
Purchased from Burson Auto Parts cost $104.00.
I am going to take Bird Of Passage up to Lake Macquarie in about mid November
for a couple weeks,

Re: REFUGE COVE TRIP
Hi, All.
It looks like January is going to slip by before we get a chance to go down to the Prom.
The weather patten is also a lot better in April, so I think we will try again to do the trip then,
Regards Kevin Svenson.

Re: REFUGE COVE TRIP
Hi Glenn, No, I,m not heading over to Scotland, The Refuge Cove I,m talking about is at the bottom of Victoria at Wilson Promontory. We put the yachts in at port Welsh-pool, and sail out into Bass Strait. It takes 6-8 hours to sail to the cove, but is well worth the trip. It is very similar to Wine ...

Re: winter mods to my macgregor
Hi David. I bought the material for the underneath of the hatch from SPOTLIGHT, It is actually called HEADLINER, I used PVC glue to hold the material in place, it dries clear, but non came through anyway. Regarding the teak woodwork, yes, it does replace the existing white keeper. I had to cut a sma...

winter mods to my macgregor
Hi all, Just thought I'd post the mods I did to Bird Of Passage over winter. First mod was to fit a headliner to the underside of the sliding hatch, Then I fitted nylon strips to the edge of the hatch, to make it slide better without leaving a white stain across the black window stripes. Then before...

Re: Racing Rules Options 2
Hi Brian,
Yes, I think the backstay should be allowed, another advantage is it allows the
boat to point a bit higher, by allowing the forstay to be tensioned up.
Regards Kevin.

Hi Brian,
No I don,t believe that there should be any modification to the
centreboard. ie, weighted centreboard, bulbkeel, where does it all finish.

Re: trip to port stephens / myall lakes n. s. w.
Hi uncle trev
I intend travelling up the east coast (heading to the Whitsundays Sep/Oct) and plan to spend some time on the Myall Lakes. Could you let me know where the secure car/trailer parking is.
Also, does anyone know of any secure parking around Airlie Beach.
Much appreciated.
Kevin.
