thanks for the xtra input,since florida is suppose to be getting cooler (better sailing weather )i plan on putting it back in the marina in a coupple of weeks ,i have noticed that in some areas the blisters are already getting smaller if they dont come all the way out i still will only have to sand ...

im looking for helpful input so no hindsight please .i put my boat in for 3 weeks at a fresh water marina took it out to get engine tuned up/.. no blisters ..put it back in 4 ( 6) weeks saving up money to bottom paint if i liked the marina enviroment .took it out this weekend and EVERY SQUARE INCH L...

i ve had motor 3 years and just had tune up. i found out it has been running on 2 cyl part of time instead of 3 i have always had poor speed out of it . i get 10- 11 mph with ballast full or 13 mph empty i have changed the pitch twice and size once the rpms run full at 5200 empty about 5600 right wh...

THANKS FOR THE INFO. I RENTED THE SLIP FOR THREE MTHS WHICH WILL GIVE ME TIME TO FIND A GOOD PRICE ON THE PAINT AND SEE IF I LIKE IT AT THE MARINA... AT 45 A MTH I THOUGHT I WOULD TRY IT

I HAVE A 26M AND PLAN ON PUTTING IT IN A MARINA AND TAKEING IT OUT ONCE A MTH TO SCRUB THE BOTTOM IT WILL BE IN FRESH WATER...DO I REALLY NEED TO BOTTOM PAINT IT

THANKS FOR ALL THE INFO .THATS HOW I DID IT .SOMEONE TOLD ME TO PUT A GROUNDING PLATE ON.I M INSTALLING MY 198C CHARTPLOTTER AND VHF RADIO THIS WEEK.THEN IT GOES TO THE SHOP TO INSTALL MY CAMPING PACKAGE/BIMINI/DODGER. I LIVE IN ST CLOUD FLORIDA.NEAR ORLANDO.

i am proud owner of 2006 mac maiden voyage last weekend. power only.my inverter says to ground to boat grounding system .other than neg.battery post what is recommended?someone mentioned to the outboard motor but it wont be in water much.
