I have damaged one of my rudders
:macm: After a great day sailing I have managed to crack my port side rudder, pushing it a bit far and hit a sand bar. It’s repeatable but I’m thinking of getting a set of Mac 26M HDPE High Performance Rudder. Has anyone got these rudders? Are they any good. It would be great to get some info before...

I'm coming to San Francisco, anyone need crew?
Hello, my name is Andrew. My partner Patsy and I are arriving in San Francisco on the 6 July, we are hiring a car and heading to Yosemite national park on the 9 July. Patsy is not interested in sailing at all, however I love it, and have owned my 26m {Moonshadow} for 7 years, sailing single handed 9...

Re: Sticky Dingy
Hi. I had the same problem with my inflatable. mostly the transom, I used acetone to clean it, M E K also works.
I was told to by a P V C paint to spray it with after. however I didn't get around to that as an internal hole in the inflatable was beyond my repair.

Re: Dual axle aluminum trailer
Torsion axle suspension. The cross bar, which contains the rubber spring rods, is bolted directly to the trailer frame. The trailing arms, which have the spindles on them, rotate against the rubber rods as the wheel load increases. http://www.pacifictrailers.com/UFP-Trailer-Buddy-Rubber-Torsion-Axle...

Re: Dual axle aluminum trailer
I have a question, Why would you tow a boat, or anything with a trailer with no suspension? Your roads in the US must be smooth?

Re: Larger steering wheel
Hay ya Dave. On the
I don't think I've ever gone around the helm without walking over the seats, even with the original wheel. The 15in is just to small with the auto helm. As fare as the Bimini is concerned, being vertically challenged
it hasn't been a problem

Re: Larger steering wheel
I find the 20 inch wheel very comfortable to use and aesthetically a better look than the 15 inch. For me I find sitting back in the stern rail seats, steering with one foot, very relaxing.
