I used the Sea Dog Polarized Electrical Connector P/N 426234-1. Really like it and it was a perfect fit in the existing deck penetration.

Shrink wrap tape is plastic (water proof) and uber strong. I think I could have kept going on the canal trip and not worried about water intrusion... but better safe and not add to the damage. We are one week out. Weather looks good so far. Galactica, Compromise, Syzygy and Interlude will join up in the Charleston Harbor Friday afternoon. This year all boats will be coming from a different launch point... Should be a fun join up! Can't wait to see what kind of Mega Yachts are at the marin...

That looks like cupping... and if you're running your tires less than max PSI, then your tires are under inflated. trailer tires should be run at max PSI. Your trailer is either overloaded or your suspension is suspect. I had the same symptom several years ago. Switched to radial tires (single axle)...
