Re: Cockpit floor weight limit
Trying to get the BF50 on Plane is like passing gas to your loved one. :( As far as getting 1000 lb crew members in cockpit is just fine under 6 knots. Hope They have a Headwind ! :( Dave hahaha.... we did have a headwind and fortunately a 90hp. It managed to get us up around 20mph 8) .... I did ma...

Re:
If the boat is designed to hold six adults, which it is, then you should not have any problems with three Titans. With the weight that is. :D Fitting comfortably might be an insurmountable challenge :) Ray We'll just need to add a couple of 100 lbs ladies to help balance the load and make the cramp...

Cockpit floor weight limit
Hi all, I've been through all the info I could find about the weight limit on the :macx: cockpit floor but haven't been able to find anything so I thought I'd turn to the experts  . I'm planning on heading out with a couple of buddies next weekend who are on the larger size one's 6'2" and...

Re: Replacing the Forestay with roller furler
Sorry. I get the post now, read that totally wrong! :) Just push the forestay through. The cables stiff enough to make it with no problems. should take less than twenty min to take down and reinstall with the mast up. Make sure you have the tiny cotter pins for the turnbuckle and a spare incase you...

Re: Replacing the Forestay with roller furler
I picked up an OEM forestay from BWY the furler was already in place when I purchased the boat . I was just wondering if anyone had tips; like using fish tape or using the old stay to pull the new one through the furler...

Replacing the Forestay with roller furler
Hey all, I'm getting to replace the forestay on my
with a CDI FF2. It seems simple enough but I was wondering if anyone else had done this and had some words of wisdom to pass along.

Re: larger transom valve on 96x
The vent plug on mine is pulled before emptying the ballast. Even on the trailer the water takes 20+minutes to drain :o (in excess of the amount of time it takes to lower the mask and unload the boat after a weekend out) and even then it still will leave a water trail on the way home if the valve is...

Re: larger transom valve on 96x
I was thinking of putting in a 3 inch. With the stock one I've motored for around ten minutes then pulled it at the ramp and still had a considerable amount of water in there. I usually do all my motoring/sailing with ballast full but would like the option on a nice day to drop the ballast and let t...

Thanks for the nice write up. The 90hp on my
sure is a thirsty little beast so I think I'm going to have a new item to add to my mod list.

Re: Do you Moor or Tow your M?
Another nice thing about the Mac. In my area some marinas offer dry storage where you're able to leave the mast up for about a third of the cost of having it in moorage. I've been thinking about this if I upgrade to a aluminum or galv trailer. I think it would be worth it to still be easily be able ...
