What is a water seperator? And what's the cost? Is it for gasoline from an auto store, or something home made? I've never heard of it.

I use stay-bil fuel stabilizer for the gas left over from this season. Make sure you ad it to the gas as soon as possible. I put it in too late two seasons ago, and I already had water in my gasoline. Needless to say that I had 10 gallons of useless gas now, that nobody wants to take. Even recycling...

Are you talking about a solar charger? I just have a $15 Coleman solar battery maintainer. It seems to be working fine for my batteries. I think they also make a solar battery charger. Hope this helps.

I just put my boat in the water for the summer, and the question came up, whether to leave the motor in the down position or in the tilt up position. I know evenrude suggests to leave the motor in the down position for storage. So I left it in the down position. I'm worried about zebra muscles attac...
