Absolutely beautiful 4th of July out on the Sound this morning and afternoon! Motored around as I believe I'm needing a backstay adjuster (next payday). Should have seen some of the surprised looks on some folks when the Knotty Girl got up on plane mwahahahahaha!!!

Chain plate is there, I'm wondering if I can put an adjustment extension in or perhaps a turnbuckle at the transom tiedown point. I'll monkey around with it some but keep throwing suggestions out, and thanks, good input

So clean up of the Knotty Girl is pretty much done, went through some dry runs of raising the mast and discovered my backstay is short about a foot. Hmmmm.
