Re: boom vang setup
Another idea......I have a double block w/ becket on the boom and a double on the mast base. The line runs from the becket to first roller on mast, up through first roller on boom block, back down to mast, and up throught boom block and out to a cleat munted on the bottom of the boom. With this setu...

Re: Weight in Center board??
Wow mastreb...Thanks for the great analysis! I think I'll pass on the lead. By the by, I learned to sail on Lazers and own a Lazer II, so i'm pretty good with the sheet!

Weight in Center board??
I saw a mod where the poster filled his center board w/ concrete. Is the M's center board hollow? Could it be filled w/ lead shot and epoxied on the top to hold it all in? Would need to set up more then a 2:1 lifting system too.

Bigger gas tanks on M
Has any one found a higher capacity tank that will fit on the M, under the cockpit seats? I've come close, but it seems that one dimention is always just a little to big. I don't want to go the internal route.

Re: Ball lock pins? First unstepping for me.

Re: Natures head on a 26m, anyone?
It's a great product, works well with little to no smell. It's a lttle tight on an M. I'm 6 ft. 0 in and hit my head when I sit. Ventalation was interesting...I ran the tube through the V-berth bulkhead and up to 3" solar vent on the deck. I also hooked up the little computer fan so I could rea...

Re: In case anyone is wondering...
On my Lazer II, I electrical taped a 4" long, one inch wide velcro (loop) piece to the end of the batten. I sewed the hook length to the sail and never lost another one...Guess I do the same on my M.
