I plan to use trailer tires, and swap them out every 3 years. Suggestions are welcome. :)

Re: Water tank install? Inside water ballast tank

You sailors are asking questions to what I already have installed in my Mac.26 X. I installed a Ballast Plus System in my boat last spring. I have 35 gal. fuel bag in my water ballast tank. Could just as easy be water. As the fuel is used the water is replaced. The old hatch is removed, clean any s...

Re: Charlotte Harbor great place to escape the FLU

If you are taking a Mac to Florida Charlotte Harbor is a good destination as you have a lot of fairly protected water inside Charlotte Harbor itself or can go up or down the west coast from there either inside on the ICW or outside in the Gulf. great place for a Mac gathering. cheap, safe, convenie...

Re: Charlotte Harbor great place to escape the FLU

Did you get a slip at Laishley or just put in there? Both, free ramp. I was wondering about long term parking there? Free public lot. I left the suv and trailer there days at a time. But not the whole time. Visited family close by. Free parking reserved/specific for slip renters. Free bike use. Nic...

Was a ballsy boat...knocked the mast into the water a few times without fear, had a huge over sized spinnaker to push the limits. Used it more like a gennaker. Like my Mac26x for comfort and the 15mph ...
