My trick was to pull my M out of the water all the way to top of the ramp, draining ballast on the way up then i used the stern lines to tie the boat to the trailer, backed the works back into the water(of course a less busy ramp is most friendly for this action) the boat floated the trailer, i tigh...

Thanks , I did confuse the author sorry. However your input is very helpful. Yeah its going too be an extensive project, but worth it I think. The COMADOR is on board with this mod( or would be if its easier to get on and off the dock)

Jimmyt, just how beefy is the transom on the M ? I'm sure backing plates are a must, but how much do i need to add to be sure the load distributed appropriately I do plan on supporting the bracket all along the top edge GUYS has this been done or am i " braking water " here :macm: confluence

Grady,
taking into account what you said about the center of gravity. Do you think it would help off set the bracket if i used the forward flotation hold for fresh water tank ?
( keeping the foam in the boat of course )
