Re: A New Journey Begins for OverEasy - 2023/2025
Being confined to boating within the shores of a moderately sized lake, I'm drooling at your availabilty of changing scenic waterways. Great photos. But I do have a question, attached to the starboard forward lifeline attachment point is a dohicky to which is attached a line to your bimini. Might I ...

WHAT AM I MISSING WHEN MOTORING
Given the lack of wind her in the midwest at this time of year, I'm doing alot of powering with the outboard instead of sailing. The situation is this, I can't seem to find a way of keeping the boat going in a straight line without constant feedback from the wheel. The boat always seems to want to t...

BWY MAST OPENING MOD
Hello, I bought a new loose foot mainsail from BWY last year, what is preventing me from putting it on my 2001 MACX is the fact that I need to close the opening for the sail on the mast. I also purchased the kit to do that, however it requires that I pound the opening almost closed with a hardwood d...

Re: LOOS guage has ruined my calm
Many thanks for your replies. It's obvious to me now why they refer to the "ART" of mast tuning rather than just the setting up the mast. Time to go sailing with my "good enough" rig. Happy Fourth of July to everyone.

LOOS guage has ruined my calm
Before obtaing my LOOS guage, if the shrouds felt "good" off I went sailing. Life was good. Now following the suggestions by those more in the know, my life for the past 2 weeks has been hull. First I set the mast rake, then attempt to tighten the shrouds. Except I can't with the 2 tiny sc...

Re: Looking for a mast gate - early 26M
Just so happens I was looking for a mast gate for my X. The video on u-tube is for the the original model. This is the email for the inventor who makes them. They cost about $150 . He is still making them.

Re: 2 battery setup
Over Easy,
Would you mind posting a wiring diagram, trying to visualize the connections is making my head spin. Is it possible by error that you turn on use as well as charge on the same battery? Therefore my request for a wiring diagram. Thanks for your contribution.

Re: What constitutes a Bahamas Weather Window?
When I looked at the wind chart there has been an eastern component for at least a couple days, my first thought was leave on tues evening when things should be calmed down more. But noon seemed a good compromise. Since there is nothing set in stone, stick your nose into the gulf stream and see if i...
