Re: 2001 26x trailer axle question
I tried 1/4 inch zerks ,the screw in type didn't catch. I also have same size that are press in or I guess hammer in type that I was afraid of using. Has anyone actually placed a fitting in that hole?

2001 26x trailer axle question
In converting to disc brakes, I noticed a hole centered at the outermost end of the spindle. I had bearing buddies when I purchased the boat and trailer. Should I put a zerk fitting in that hole? I wasn't planning on using the B.Buddies again. If not, what is this hole used for? Thanks for any info ...

Re: Hove to - storm tactics
It seems to me that a year or so ago someone posted that the traditional heave to posture, back winded jib and counter balanced main, doesn't work with our boats. Memory fails me but there was something about the bow being pushed around too easily with the stern unable to catch up. So, no jib out. I...

Re: Connector
Hi Chad, Always use the KISS principal, If you just want something functional, buy a watertight gland. Your mast wire will pass through the gland into the cabin. Then you make what ever type of connection youd like inside the cabin. Completely dry. When pulling the mast, just disconnect the wires in...

You might also try TSC (Tractor Supply) they're sold as stable mats or anti fatigue mats. No fancy colors though

Re: Engine Cover Repair/Replacement
Its a long shot, if you have access to a identical motor on another boat, you could ask permission to make a mold from their engine. Just a thought.

Re: Need to replace the centerboard line....
Since my line disintegrated, can someone tell me which side of the centerboard the line enters the hole, if it matters at all, as well as the stopper knot used. Thanks

OVEREASY When cooking your rice try bringing your water to a boil add rice bring to a boil again then remove from heat, cover pot with lid, wrap in towel and let it finish cooking by itself. Saves your 20 min. of simmering.

Re: Cooking gadgets - show yours
Tom, I like your list of favorite items. I also have a single burner induction set up. The Stansport cooking set would be ideal.
However the bottom is aluminum for " even cooking ". Don't think it will work for my induction stove. If it does on yours let us know. Best of luck
