Honda BF50 Controller on Last Leg
Hello all, I am looking to replace the honda bf50 controller on my Mac26x. I'm very interested in buying a Dometic SeaStar Side Mount Control. Does anyone have any experience with these: http://www.seastarsolutions.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/mcda1-side-mount-3.pdf I'm wondering if I have the ins...

Re: Suzuki DF60AV or DF90A ?
We are looking to repower. I am seriously considering the DF60AV given that i would like to have better control at slower speeds ... our primary boat dock is perpendicular to the river current. The new 2023 DF60AV seems to have changed and now will accept up to a 14 inch prop. I recall reading that ...

Re: Macgregor Owners Spring Break Meet Up in FL
Hello … definitely interested.
We went to the island last year.
Actually haven’t had the boat out since. Shortly afterwards we adopted our daughter, but we are working to get the boat ready for the spring.
Is the idea to beach and hang?
Then stay the night on the anchored/beaches boat?

Re: Washing 26x cushions/covers advice...
Hi, we put the covers of our interior cushions one at a time in our front load washer (berth and seats). Then we air dried them in the house. Had covers draped over backs of chairs. We didn’t clean our cushions. The material didn’t have any concerning areas for us to clean. So we just aired them on ...

Re: Cockpit table with a post?
Bwy has a binnacle table (https://shop.bwyachts.com/product-p/6304-1x0.htm ) reasonably priced and then I’ve seen another table with a different company that was much more expensive (http://www.dowsar.com/options.htm).

Re: Load Rite Trailer for 26x
I purchased the super sport marine two axel. It pulls amazing. Backs up easily. Launch and load are great. And it sits the boat a bit higher when on land which makes the boat appear more impressive.

Re: Mac 26X Repower to New 90 HP Suzuki 4-Stroke
Hey, there is a very long discussion on this topic. I’d look there for advice. This topic can get pretty heated as there are two schools of thought. 1. Don’t go beyond 50 hp. 2. Go higher. The reasons are well thought out.

Vkmanyard, I think that is exactly the motor we will plan to install next winter . Was there anything that you had to do to get the motor on? Thanks for the videos. That convinced us for sure!
