Re: Electric Vehicles and towing
Congrats on the new truck. EV’s are cool and I enjoy the tech, but they just don’t work for my lifestyle. I’d enjoy one for my normal commute, but it would never pay for itself so I’ll happily keep buying gas for my paid for IC vehicles. As to my truck, I often tow 10-14k pounds for 500+ miles a day...

Re: M25 Genoa track car
I’ve seen that one. They specifically say that it’s not meant to replace the regular car, but meant as an addition. I know it’s not rocket science, but I’m a bit OCD at times.
Thanks

M25 Genoa track car
My recently acquired M25 is missing one of the track cars and I can’t seem to find a replacement. There’s a lot of options for cars with a metal ring or cars with a block, but one with the fairlead seems to be an oddity. What are you guys using and/or does anyone know of a source for one like this? ...

Hmmm… this looks intriguing. I’ll add it to the “probably “ list for next year and see how things go.

Re: Safety review before sailing season?
Most of my past injuries are related to fishing gear; knives, hooks, getting home later than I told my wife, etc. For sailing I have a few general suggestions. 1.Never wrap a line around your hand. A good gust can remove fingers. 2.One hand for you and one for the boat. Sailboats are very independen...

Re: Sailing Upright
I live and sail in Wyoming and as anyone who has ever been here knows, it’s windy and rarely steady. Gusts are just a part of life and I’ve been contemplating getting a “storm jib” and a main with extra reef points just for keeping my M25 intact with the gusty, variable winds. I’m ok giving up a lit...
