MacGregor Replacement Trailer
Is anyone selling their Macgregor aluminum trailer for a 26M? Mine broke and need another one. I live in Southern California. Thank you!

Re: Any negatives on the 26M 2009
I've been out to Anacapa, Santa Cruz, and Catalina many times. Just pick your day, to much wind is no fun and can be dangerous. As for the biggest swell, two winters ago we went out to Santa Cruz from Ventura, nice ride over, a little bumpy once we got near the island. We had a nice day but when we ...

Mac M Trailer Crank 2006
When the day is done, and I'm ready to pull the boat up on the trailer, I clip the the boat to the trailer, and then crank it up. How tight should the crank be? I've gone through one crank, bending the washers that hold the two bolts of the crank to the trailer as well as the crank, and now I'm onto...

I usually just leave the mast raising system in place while I sail (but I crank the tension back off of it). I do this because I usually pull the mast down after every sail and then cover the boat as to keep the sun and elements off of it. By doing it this way, you do have a backup forward stay. Jus...

Mac Swap?
Is there any group or group of interested Mac owners who may be interested in starting some sort of coop in which a Mac owner from say Florida (Bahamas) would be willing to swap time with a Mac owner from California (Catalina Island)? Better yet, does anyone know of some sort of a deal like this in ...

26M Dagger board Noise
Has anyone found a way to silence the noise that comes from the dagger board while at anchor? In our boat, (and I’m sure all others) as the swell passes by, the dagger board knocks against the inside of the boat making it tough to tune out and sleep. If I pull up the dagger board, the boat rocks mor...
