Trailer bearings and seals 26M
Hi Guys/Gals, I have one oft he last steel trailers for a 26 M .. produced sometime in 2006 .. Can anybody please tell me ... the serial/part numbers or even sizes for the trailer bearings/trailer seals ... as I would love to keep a spare set in case of failure. I appreciate that I can strip the hub...

Spray in cockpit while under power
Whenever I have my 26M under power and there is a significant cross wind there is a big issue with spray coming in the cockpit. Obviously it doesn't help that the steering position is right in the back of the boat (unlike most power boats). Just a thought of a possible solution for this problem... H...

Finally had bombardier look at my engine.The mechanic found something in the software of the engine that he was able to change and apparently increase the power by about 10 percent.All else was ok but did change to an evinrude 3 blade 13 3/4 by 13 SS prop ...part no 392261..HE also found my tacho wa...

Finally back from holidays and have contacted the local evinrude dealer.I had suggested to them to try the test wheel on another 90 ETEC when they could.They did this and the other motor ran 500 rpm faster than mine.The top trouble shooter guy from bombardier is going to be in Brisbane this week and...

Hi..Finally back from holidays in europe..and thinking about fitting the hydraulic steering and raymarine s1000 autopilot as suggested.Looking in the baystar website I could only see front and sidemount cylinders ..which have balanced rams as required by the raymarine specs for their s1000 autopilot...

Just to further clarify what a test wheel is.... It simply is a aluminium wheel that replaces the prop. The idea is that it's a stationary 'in water' test and the test wheel is designed to give an exact amount of resistance or drag against the engine.
