Weight of 26X and Trailer?

Has anyone weighed their Mac 26X and factory trailer?

I sold my F350 and have a smaller tow vehicle now so I need to pay more attention to the weight.

Thanks

Where Attach Tachometer Test Meter to Hpnda 50?

I am try to adjust the idle on my Honda 50. I Don't know how accurate the pedestal tach is, so I want to hook up my fluke 88. I know this will require some adjustment to the readout to get the correct value for the 3 cylinder Honda.. I don't have the Fluke inductive pickup attachment so I need to us...

Re: Charleston, SC or Other Recommended Christmas Vacation Spot?

I pulled this from the Charleston Harbor website: $12.00 per foot per week (35 ft minimum)
So a Mac 26X would cost $70/night ($2 x 35).

Also, what is the nearest boat ramp?

Re: How Often Do you Flush? Your Motor That is...

I have been flushing my Honda every time using the ears. I have problems sometimes getting water to flow through the engine and find I have obstruction in the pea hole. Also, I still had salt buildup on the thermostat (I check it very year or 2). So I think puggsy's idea to use a water bag is best. ...

Charleston, SC or Other Recommended Christmas Vacation Spot?

Re: Anyone Keep their M on a lift?

Dmitri (and others),

What is the size of your bunk boards (approximate): Length x Width x Height?

FYI. My current lift has bunks that match the trailer bunk setup. I am having to replace the cradle (rusted out) with an aluminum one. I plan to replace the bunks with lengthwise bunks.

Thanks,

Pete

Mac 26 Land Camping: Anyone Have Issue With Campground?

I am a member of a membership campground. I sold my camper 4 years ago and bought a Mac 26X. I was informed recently that I could not camp in my boat because it was not considered a “Camping vehicle” and/or “recreational vehicle”. I have copied the Member Rules below: “Camping vehicle” and/or “recre...

Just out of curiosity why do you say nay on significant highway? Is it the wheelbase or something else. Tow vehicle wheel base and weight are 2 major factors. Also the overload capacity of the braking system. My impression is that full size trucks generally have higher capacity brake systems than t...
