Re: Fiberglass Repair Advice

since Bondo is not watertight and will eventually absorb water
Pssst, Bondo is a trade name, not a product. There is Marine bondo of course. This filler looks promising.

Re: JackLines Again....

My father went over just south of San Diego at the beginning of his sojourn that direction. Banged off the hull for a mile or 2 before his mate could help him back onto the boat. They had to call coast guard to have the boat skippered back in and it was another week before they were off again. Plan ...

Re: mast angle more than 94 deg

Mac.X should have a 1.5-2 degree aft rake with a slight bend aft at top of Mast. I played around for years with mine and wound up settling on 2 deg based on common loading in the water. By that I mean measure it wet. On he trailer gives a not so good result. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/t...

Re: Marina spiders :-(

And BACON - - - bacon works too I would think that Bacon would attract spiders. Nothing that walks on legs is immune to the attractive powers of bacon. A few lively posts in the past regarding bugs. Primarily spiders and wasps. We had good luck with moth balls in a peice of panty hose. Just a coupl...

Re: Got my new 327$ dinghy !

Judging by the pic I think the chartplotter is broke.

That appears to be a living room of sorts........slightly off course?

Re: Anyone heard or sailed in a Haber?

Neat looking boat. Very stable beating in that vid.

Great price is debatable as everything except the hull is a billable option. Everything.

Re: 14$ for all USA and Canada marine charts for iphone

That is very cool. No doubt it will impact chartplotter sales.

As for the battery, a car charger and conveniently placed outlet would go a long way towards rectifying that issue.

Google Hennessey hammock. Dont use a string hammock. We tried both and the hennessey worked far better.
