Solar Chargers

Has anyone had any feedback personal or otherwise on solar panels. Specifically pertaining to the charging of a battery. We are heading to desolation sound for awek and we still only have the single battery installed with the boat . :macm:

Portable DVD player

My son received a free dvd player when he purchased his last car . It is the same one that is for sale at costco.My wife and I used it during a power outage the fully charged battery lasted easily two movies .I also used it during a recent hospital stay.The costco one also comes with a carrying case...

Has anyone pulled a vhf coax from starboard of mast to port of walkthru to cabin on 26m. My fuse panel is right in same location. :macm:

Sorry about that, I guess that's what the preview option is for. Four to five feet from the top of the mast. I installed a 3/4" P.V.C. pipe the entire length of the mast, now I want to refoam creating several chambers if possible. :macm:

Does anyone see any problems with drilling a new hole in the mast four feet from to to reestablish the flotation ability of the mast, It will be approximately 1/2" in dia. Then I will fill with great stuff foam. I will also fill the top as well.
