Tahoe Jack,
How did you ever remember to give yourself enough clearance for the cockpit cushions? You can be sure that I would have forgotten to take them into account.

I assume you are talking above the water line? I have fixed digs in my white Gelcoat with those Gel coat repair applicators sold at different boat stores. Some come with color mixing capability not sure if they have blue. Doesn't Mac sell a touch up Gel coat for the blue hull? After applying the rep...

I have found it difficult to get the snaps to engage on the factory cushion backs. I feel your pain about not having the cushions maybe someone elso on this forum has had sunbrella ones made and will sell you their old ones. That is how I got my set of factory ones. But... the factory ones do take o...

I'll attempt doing a search for whatever coating it was. Whoever did it applied it only to the black as I remember. I also thought that a pressure washer does a fast job of cleaning up the oxidation on the black but I could be wrong. And I do realise that the black is thin and you would not want too...

I seem to recall some posts about a year ago suggesting a portable power washer to bring back some of the luster. Does anyone else remember these posts or what size power washer is recommended? Also a guy in New Bern , NC posted on here about using some kind of coating over the black and I not sure ...

Wow, I can't believe they will get the Canals fixed that Quickly, I just got back from visiting my Mom in Binghamton and it certainly was a mess. I read that the section of 88 that was taken out going in both directions will not be repaired until the fall. I wonder how Arrowhead Campground is fairin...

None of the other boats that you tried to offer assistance to were experiencing this ? I think 5 miles away is still close enough to get killed by lightning. At least down here in Raleigh, NC I think that is what I have heard. I remember an article in a Trailer Boater magazine that I read years ago....

Chip, Roger certainly gets his Puffery correct. There are things I learned about this boat after buying it that were surprises. I may have picked up on these concerns from reading the boards. But nothing beats owning a boat to find out its good points or bad points. I guess compromise is just that c...

It was not displaying correct distance or direction either. But I do agree with you that it does not have the WAAS capability. Maybe I was in a Bermuda Triangle. It was quite surprising to find that it died at 30 degree temps as GPS's have been used for quite awhile under cold conditions. I think it...
