Need exactly length of upper shroud for M

Howdy all,

Can anyone (or has anyone) measured accurately the length of the upper shrouds on an M ?

I need to make a new one without the old ones in my posession.

Oh, and what is the diameter of the wire?

Many thanks!

Thanks Terry, The reason I am replacing all the above is that they are just incredibly poor quality! Very stretchy and completely unacceptable to me! all the same colour too. The PO had a Harken swivel cleat for the main halyard installed on the mast....but about a foot too high! I will try to get t...

Sheet lenghts?

Sorry if this has been covered, but does anyone know off the top of their head what the main sheet, jib sheet and main halyard(led aft) lengths are for an 'M"?

I don't have access to the boat today and want to order some cordage.

Thanks

My 1.73c 1.ok. the mounting flange on the rubber torsion bar suspension axle is considerably larger in surface area than the traditional hangers on steel trailers, albeit not as greater span. More importantly, much (or indeed most) of the weight on the trailer is taken directly onto the 'fixed"...

Best of luck with that. Hopefully a good wash will do it. I am currently in a similar position in that the boat I bought is at the dock in Long Beach awaiting container loading. I assume its outside and uncovered. Obviously its not in danger from the fires themselves, but I worry about embers and so...

I have ready many on this board claim that they must employ monkeys for some the work at the factory. I thought that may have been a bit harsh. ....but there is the evidence. The holes in the hound are created before being folded and formed, so, I think the chances of getting the exact same one undr...

Well, I'm a happy chappy then. Thanks for the foresight ssichler! That'll make insurance easier (sorry Bob) One of the big differences with the e-tec is its stratified charge mode (under 2000rpm I think...homogenous above that) Further reading for those interested http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strati...

Phillip. I think I'm getting closer. SAE J684 International standard and one which the Mac trailer coupler meets. I'm reckoning that if it meets that, it probably also meets most of the AS requirements (except ball dimension) I'll keep you informed. Rockman hasn't get back with the pics yet. James

..... I think your standards have developed independent of USA and European standards so that perhaps there is not a lot of parallels, just similarities at best. Nevertheless, when I was able to take an Australian standard and determine what it required, I usually could find some testing that would...

no ! no !! I probably didn't explain it right! ADR = Australian Design Rule (covers the overall design, layout and specifications) AS = Australian Standards (covers material things like engineered parts) ISO = (International Organization for Standardization) is the world's largest developer and publ...

Jacks Livin' on the edge

Most mods are the Admirals requirements so the contract is 1kg of weight added to the boat, 1kg weight loss for the Admiral :D Jack Sparrow .......and then he stopped breathing. I'm also impressed with the speed at which these are installed. Do you get anything done at work? Anyhow, a big cheers Ja...

Indeed TT,
They listen very carefully to customer requests. Not only that, but the builder Geoff Reichelt is a terrific bloke and is very active on the australian TSP forum 8)
