Thanks Kevin.... I am with Dave the mods area is valued portion of this board..The Mods separate This Board from others and puts FB to shame..

Really? Yea Thats what it says at the bottom under "destinations" .. If I dont log in , there are several more forums to view but I cannot interact in them .. Hummmm? While I am here , I guess I might as well ask , is the Mods section still broken or is it too, restricted ?

When either of my boat looks too neglected, I use "30 seconds and Off" and my electric power washer.. I Too am Big Believer in Star Bright Products .. I think I have bought every boat product sold in America( My Garage looks like a Giant Trade Show Booth for Boat Detailing ) and NONE IS MAGIC! :x

It will be sad to see it go , but I guess it was inevitable....Face Book was the demise of many a Chat Board..Many of those dedicated boards didn't last as long as this Macgregor Board did .. I Thank Heath for ALL His Hard Work.. :macm:

I have caused / allowed damage to the Transom seat by allowing it to slam shut from a fully open position.. That said , its not as apparent as yours is.

OK, you confused me referencing tubing as bar..

You get the parts to do it from West Marine - all you need is a the round SS bar from WM - they sell them and it fits right inside the stock stanchion - I cut the stanchion right about in half and then slid in the stainless bar into the cut stanchion and slide the other half right over it.
