I used to live two miles from Twanoh State Park on the beach. At that time you could pick oysters and I knew some guys that were shrimping out of Union (just past Alderbrook at the elbow of Hood Canal) and the shrimp were just outstanding. It ruined me forever on shrimp. No shrimp have ever tasted a...

Duane, Don't have personal experience with trailering up there but one time, many years ago, I knew some guys that owned a fishing lodge on floats located in Nahmint Bay. Usually people flew in. I went with the owners in the off-season and we motored from Port Alberni. BEAUTIFUL. I've never forgotte...

Are there any pics of the different M's layout? (especially the 03, 04) If so, where?

The main thing I like about the X is the open interior. If the 2003 M has a more open layout I'd like to see it.

Up here in NE Minnesota it's a dry cold. Today it was really warm, I think it got up to 32 but then we are now under a blizzard warning for the next 48 hours. Anticipating 16-24" of snow. We haven't had that much snow this winter. Only had to have the driveway plowed twice. Once, New Year's Eve...

Up here we have mainly aluminum fishing boats and lots of rocks in our lakes. So, to "ding" up a prop is very common. With that in mind there is a place in Duluth, MN called the "Prop Shop" and that is their main business. Fixing props. They even have remote drop-off places for y...

Thanks for the input. My main interest would be internet (used for study and research for me), email would be nice, cell phone would be nice but not critical. With internet service (browsing) I would be able to get much of my work done on the boat. That way I can go out for a few days, sail around, ...

Broadband Internet on Boat

Is there anything available to have satellite internet service on the boat?

Didn't find anything in a search that helped. Anything new out there?

What's New for 2007?

I probably missed the discussion on this topic, if so, sorry. What I would like to know is what is new and/or changed on the 2007 M? Anything? If so, what do you think of the change?

Just wondering.

My wife and I were looking at some sailboats in Bayfield, WI over the Labor Day weekend. We saw some great boats at the Superior Charter place. One was for sale for $139,000. Wow! Boy, is that a lot of money or what! But wait, as I thought about it, where could you buy waterfront property for $139,0...

Hey, how about a blue Mini Cooper S for a tow vehicle? Now that would be quite a picture! :D It is 143.9 inches long. No problem, right? I'm looking forward to test driving one some day. jda ps ... If you have a matching blue car/truck/van does it help you tow more weight? Or does it just go faster?...
